Seminar with a Focus on Government and Commercial Applications
The program will analyze the current lighting sources used in commercial interior spaces, covering major aspects such as energy efficiency, color, cost and the process of meeting light level requirements within energy codes and GSA. Case studies will be explained.
Maureen Moran, IALD, IESNA, LC, Principal of MCLA Architectural Lighting Design, will speak about current lighting methods for federal, hospitality and commercial offices using sustainable techniques. MCLA has designed lighting for renovations to the US Supreme Court Building, Eisenhower Executive Office Building and the Department of Justice. Lee Odess, President of ENERGY+LIGHT+ CONTROL , his activities concentrate on design, selection, installation and implementation of energy consumption control systems such as artificial and natural lighting controls.
