12:30 p.m. Judy Lagenfelder Luncheon Fabricut, Suite 221 Critical Knowledge: Judy Langenfelder, Fabricut regional representative, talks Wyzenbeek Rub tests, flame retardancy, technical bulletins, NFPA 260A, California 117, backing-knit, acrylic, paper, drapery, dual purpose, multipurpose, upholstery – when to use what, railroading, drapery cuts. Your questions answered!

1 p.m. Know Your Upholstery J. Lambeth, Suite 117 Know Your Upholstery: Learn the quality points to look for; frame weight and construction, springs, padding, cushion fills, tailoring etc. Learn how to communicate these points to a client so you can sell upholstery confidently.

1:30 p.m. Building Your Team J. Lambeth, Suite 117 Tricia Huntley, owner Huntley & Company Interior Design, will share how she assembled the workroom, painters, floor/tile etc. craftspeople for her team. Building your team is one of the most important things you do in establishing your practice. They are the talent in each of the trades that take a project from your vision to reality. Learn how to build your team.

2 p.m. Dennis Lee from Tyler Hall Michael-Cleary, LLC, Suite 401 President and design director Dennis Lee of Tyler Hall, a boutique wallpaper and fabric line, will discuss and present the step-by-step process of creating hand printed wallpapers. He will present from the original art work, the layout/repeat stage, the screen engraving process, the mill production to the final product.
