Cornell University names InTypes
I just came across this cool article. At Cornell University, they have since 1997 been working on identifying contemporary design practices that have not been named, naming them, and providing designers with an interior-specific, history-specific, and contemporary design-specific vocabulary. They call in Intypes, and they are very interesting. Check out the website data base they have compliled, and see some of the vocabulary below.

NEWH W Hotel Tour
We had a great turn out for the NEWH W. Hotel Tour. Over 70 people came out to see the hotel. We raised a total of $1500 which will go to scholarships for future members of the hospitality community. Keep your eyes peeled for the upcoming invite to the Scholarship Awards ceremony coming up on September 30th.
Thanks Lynda Welte, a multi line rep of Blue Prints for Design, for many of these photos.
