Mitchell Alguadich will serve as the new director of healthcare for Leo A Daly’s Washington, D.C. office, according to an announcement made yesterday (Feb. 22) by the international architecture, planning, engineering, interior design, and program management firm. In his new position, Alguadich will be responsible for the planning and programming of innovative healthcare facility and campus projects.
“Mitchell’s extensive experience will be very helpful, both internally and for our clients, as we continue to expand the healthcare studio in our Washington D.C. office,” says Leo A Daly, Washington managing principal Alan Feltoon in a statement.
Alguadich has over 20 years of experience in the healthcare architecture segment and previously served as principal and company officer for Los Angeles-based Cannon Design, as well as founder and president of Baltimore-based MKA Associates, Inc. He holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering from Northwestern University and past projects include: Kaiser Permanente, VA Medical Center, University of Maryland Medical System, Georgetown University Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital.
