McGuire Joins REED Construction from Rand Construction

Cullen McGuire has joined Reed Construction as Senior Project Manager and will be leading projects in both Chicago and Washington DC on behalf of the firm.

McGuire was previously employed with Rand Construction in Washington DC as a project manager. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie Melon University in Pittsburgh, PA.

McGuire has seven years of construction experience in both the Chicago and Washington DC areas. With REED, he will be responsible for the complete life-cycle of a construction project, beginning with initial budget development and value engineering through the substantial completion and project closeout. He will also coordinate field activities and shop drawings, and manage design related issues on behalf of the firm.

McGuire is a LEED Accredited Professional with a specialty in Interior Design and Construction. He will be based out of the firm's Chicago office.

"As we grow our operations in the Washington DC area, Cullen's knowledge and experience will be valuable for both our team and clientele," saidWilliam T. Birck, President and CEO of the firm.

Reed Construction was established in 1893 and maintains offices in Chicago and Washington D.C.
