Chandleur heads LEO A DALY interior architecture
September 9, 2009Washington – September 8, 2009 – The Washington, D.C. office of international architecture, planning, engineering, interior design and program management firm LEO A DALY announces the appointment Diane Taitt Chandleur, Assoc. AIA, ASID, IIDA, as director of interior architecture.
Chandleur, who has more than 18 years of experience in interior design, architecture and project management, will be responsible for collaborating with the firm’s Washington, DC-based team to grow the office’s interiors practice, both regionally and internationally. She is the recipient of over eight professional design awards and has been featured in numerous publications including Contract Magazine, Interiors & Sources and Architecture Week. Embracing a holistic approach to design, her portfolio includes various projects in the Washington DC area such as Lockheed Martin, JE Robert Companies and the YMCA.

Chandleur received a Bachelor of Architecture from Pratt Institute in New York and a Master of Business Administration from Baruch College in New York. She belongs to several organizations, including the International Interior Design Association, American Society of Interior Designers and the American Institute of Architects.
She previously served as a partner-in-charge of interior design and production at GTM Architects in Bethesda, Md. She has also worked as an adjunct professor at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, N.Y., The Art Institute of Washington in Rosslyn, Va., and Marymount University in Arlington, Va.
